Despite its name the ‘PES Hawaiian’ strain did not actually orginate in Hawaii, as no psilocybe cubensis mushrooms grow naturally there. The name is actually comes from the company that developed it Pacific Exotica Spora (PES) that is based in you guessed it… Hawaii.

It is a consistently well-reviewed strain which elicits strong visual stimulation, feelings of euphoria, love, and connection to those around you, however somewhat less deep introspection or philosophical ideation. This strain did not originate from a wild Hawaiian specimen as there are no reported wild specimens on the islands. That’s because it turns out that these unique fungi have a lot of history.
